I am a highly qualified counsellor, psychosexual therapist and sexual addiction therapist with 27 years' experience. You may find it helpful to have an initial session with me to explore how sexual addiction therapy might help you.You may wish to look at the Paula Hall recovery course - see for more details of the course.Alternatively there are various twelve-step groups such as Sexaholics-Anonymous, Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous, and Sex Addicts Anonymous.Access to the internet can take place anywhere and at anytime so we need to make sure our children are able to use the internet safely. Many children are unaware of the risks for example by having many online friends (who could be strangers), uploading inappropriate images, viewing unsuitable content or sharing too much personal information. You may be unsure what sexual addiction therapy involves and how this might help.
Socially our children often use the internet for entertainment, interaction, and communication with ‘friends’.
Please contact the office or Mrs Lord if you require any assistance regarding this.
Year 5 and 6 took part in an 'eye opening' speed friending workshop run by Excite-ed.
I can normally offer a first appointment quickly including Saturday mornings.
More information on the sexual addiction therapy I provide can be found further down the page, for times and prices please see counselling services.
As you can see from the pictures the event was a huge success with the families getting a chance to spend valuable time finding out about their children's internet and technology habits. Really useful to have children present as a great opportunity to get children and parents talking about the subject of online safety. The privacy settings section was particularly helpful.
